Automotive and mechanical engineering are two disciplines that are often associated with one another, but there are actually significant differences.Both are related to machinery , but there are some differences and similarities between the two .Automotive is a branch of mechanical engineering that specializes in
 production, design, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, and trucks.There are many components involved in the automotive world , such as engines , transmissions , suspensions and electrical systems that attract a lot of attention .Mechanical engineering is an applied science that covers all issues related to the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of machines and other equipment.  This includes everything from internal combustion engines to turbines to hydroelectric generators to industrial robots.  Although mechanical engineering is not directly related to automobiles, it has the advantage of having an impact on the automotive world and beyond.The main difference between automotive engineering and mechanical engineering is that science and technology are central.  While the automotive field focuses on vehicle engines and mechanics, mechanical engineering programmers focus on the design, construction, and function of machines.  However, as technology advances, the two become increasingly interrelated and influence one another.  Automotive and Mechanical Engineering has expertise in the skills needed to work in these fields.Physics principles, deep understanding of mathematics, and technical analysis skills are essential
 competencies for both disciplines.Both also rely on the latest technologies such as CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) in their design and manufacturing processes.  Becoming an automotive or mechanical engineering expert takes a lot of time and effort.Over the years, the automotive industry has evolved with the introduction of new technologies, leading to the development of more efficient, higher quality, and more environmentally friendly engines and vehicles.Ultimately, automotive engineering and mechanical engineering are related, but the two are very different in focus and skill set.  However, both of them continued to grow.  As technology advances , automotive and mechanical engineering will continue to be interesting and important fields to work on.
