History of the Automotive World: From Early Developments to the Modern Era

Automotive is a word that is familiar to all of us. Motorized vehicles have become an inseparable part of our daily lives. However, did you know that behind such a familiar presence lies a long, interesting history that shaped the automotive world as we know it today? Let's explore the long history of the automotive world.

At first, the concept of motorized vehicles existed since ancient times. In the 15th century, Leonardo da Vinci, a famous polymath, created several designs for moving vehicles using human energy or horse energy. However, the concept of the modern motorized vehicle only began to materialize in the 18th century.

Selama paruh pertama abad ke-20, dunia otomotif mengalami perkembangan pesat. Perang Dunia I and II juga berperan penting dalam mempercepat perkembangan industri otomotif.

How Motors work:Uncovering the Science Behind Electromechanical Power

How Motors work:Uncovering the Science Behind Electromechanical Power  Motors are the cornerstone of modern technology, powering many of the devices we use in our everyday lives. From electric vehicles and industrial machines to household appliances and computer fans, motors provide the mechanical power needed to get things moving. But have you ever wondered how these extraordinary devices work? In this article, we'll examine the science behind motors, focusing on the principles of electromagnetism and the intricate mechanisms that drive their functions.  1. Fundamentals of Electromagnetism At the heart of every motor lies the basic principle of electromagnetism. This branch of physics is concerned with the interaction between electric currents and magnetic fields. An electric current passing through a conductor produces a magnetic field around it, and conversely, a changing magnetic field induces an electric current in a nearby conductor. Understanding this concept is essenti...

HOW ELECTRIC MOTORS WORK

HOW ELECTRIC MOTORS WORK Electric motors are one of the more popular technologies in recent years because of their efficiency and cleanliness. This article explains how an electric motor works. The electric motor consists of several main components such as the rotor, stator and commutator.  These four components work together to produce the desired motion of the electric motor. 1.Rotor The rotor is the rotating part of the electric motor. The rotor consists of a series of coils wrapped around a metal core and rotated by a magnetic field originating from the stator. The rotation of the rotor produces a torque on the motor.   2.Stator  Stator is a stationary component and is placed around the rotor.  The stator also consists of a series of wire windings, but these are mounted inside the motor.  The coil is supplied with AC power via an electronic power controller.  3. Commutator  The commutator is used to convert alternating current to direc...

automotive vs mechanical engineering

Automotive Vs Mechanical Engineering Automotive and mechanical engineering are two disciplines that are often associated with one another, but there are actually significant differences. Both are related to machinery , but there are some differences and similarities between the two .Automotive is a branch of mechanical engineering that specializes in  production, design, maintenance, and repair of electric vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, and trucks. There are many components involved in the automotive world , such as engines , transmissions , suspensions and electrical systems that attract a lot of attention .Mechanical engineering is an applied science that covers all issues related to the design, development, manufacture and maintenance of machines and other equipment.  This includes everything from internal combustion engines to turbines to hydroelectric generators to industrial robots.  Although mechanical engineering is not directly related to automobil...
